    Throughout their usual pitch to up-sell parts during a routine oil change, I was stupid enough to let an employee check my cabin air filter. Apparently you need to go through the glove compartment, and detach the bottom half. Anyways, he clearly broke an essential piece of plastic that was part of the draw string that attaches on/into the bottom half of my glove compartment. I'm sure he noticed right away, but I didn't notice until a few days later when I opened my glove compartment again, and it dropped like a sack of potatoes. I went back, showed them my receipt, and another employee did his best to make it functional, although it is still broken (it does open and close normally, it's just improperly tied together in a questionable fashion). It's such a small, insignificant piece that I can't even buy the part or get it fixed anywhere without going way out of my way. I'll be avoiding Mr. Lube and going to a professional next time.

    If you look at every place you can get an oil change in Oakville, there are people giving bad reviews. So where do you go?
    I had at least 4 choices surrounding me all with mixed reviews so I went to the one that seemed most convenient, Mr. Lube on Speers & Dorval.
    It was around noon on a Thursday so I wasn't sure what to expect.
    Two cars were in already but they had one bay open for me so luckily I was up next. First and foremost they asked what I want, they didn't try or attempt to upsell me on ANYTHING. I went with the standard oil with my OEM filter and was done within 25 mins. I still had time for a bite on my lunch break! I was dealing with a fellow named Bob but the other staff that were there seemed friendly as well. Sometimes I think bad reviews on car shops are from poor car owners. 10/10 service and I will definitely go back.
